The fabric of liberal agenda in American begins with two ideas: an ignorant individual and control. The idea that the individual himself or herself is ignorant and unable to cope or survive on his or her own leads to the belief that the goverment must control the individual. It also leads to the ideas that the government knows better how to spend money for the individual; knows better how to offer healthcare for the individual; knows better how to educate the individual and/or the indivduals child; and knows better how to plan retirement for the indivdual. Of course, the individual is not ignorant – so the government must make the individual ignorant via public education. That, however, is a much bigger problem and an issue for another time. The topic at hand today is the plan of attack for liberals. The plan begins with an attack on the institution that has for so long defined this country, the institution that provides so much for the individuals of this country: the family. An attack on the institution of family is an attack on America. Liberals understand that the family provides many of the needs for an individual; by removing the institution of family, in effect, individual reliance on government will become inevitable.
