Hey there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Matt and I am the “egotistical, self-centered bastard” author of this blog. No seriously, I have been called that. My opinion, of course, is not shared by whom that quote is derived from but nonetheless I will take the hate mail in stride. After all, if I am hated – that means I am being heard.
Where to begin? How about with the fact that I’m a member of the VRWC [Vast, Right-wing, Conspiracy]. Well of course, I do not consider it a conspiracy but it irritates the hell out of liberals and democrats alike to pretend like it actually is a conspiracy.
On a more serious note, yes, I am very conservative. I consider myself American, more than anything though. Through hard work and diligence, innovation and capitalism anything can be accomplished. The Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan, said it best: “I believe the best social program is a job.” America has lost its motivation and lost its pride; it is up to the people to recapture the American spirit.
This is not my only blog though, I am also a Contributor to THE CONSERVATIVE FREEDOM NEWSFEED. TCFNewsfeed is updated daily and is the place to go if you’re looking for conservative commentary on all the day’s top news.
Just a few other opinions of mine, in no particular order:
- Win the war
- Secure the borders
- Pro-Life (Though, this should be solved at the state-level)
- Marriage is one man, one woman (Again, solved at the state-level) Civil Unions, O.K. because they are not endorsed by the church
- Free Healthcare is not guaranteed by the Constitution
- The FairTax
- Anybody but Hillary
- Morals, values and principles
- Federalism is a good thing. No, wait, it is a great thing.
- Repeal the 17th Amendment
- School Choice, and lots of it.
- The U.N. – Irrelevant, incapacitated and impotent
- Free Trade
- Open ANWR
- Private Property is a good thing. No, wait, it is a great thing too.
- Anti-Patriot Act
- Judges that interpret the law, not make it
- The 2nd Amendment means the RIGHT to bear arms
- Balanced Budget Amendment
- Government is not a good thing. No wait, it is a terrible thing.
- When in doubt, I ask myself: WWRD.. What Would Reagan Do?
- Rights from God, not government
- There is such thing as liberal media bias, open your eyes

Matt, I can’t believe you started this website. I’m actually impressed though, and very proud of you. Way to go son. However, I must say there are a few questions I have for you. How do we win the war and how do we secure borders? Also , can you explain more by what you mean on school choice? Since coming to JMU, I have become slightly moderate in my political views, and just want to point out that there is also conservative media bias, it goes both ways. At the same time though, I do agree with most of your opinions. So, good luck with the website, and if you need help ever, just let me know.
